26 Sep Cotswolds Food & Drink Fayre
Following on from the success of GWSR’s first Cotswolds Food and Drink Fayre last year, they are now planning an even bigger and better event for 2017.
Prepare your tastebuds and put these dates in your diary, 21 – 22 October, with food and drinks stands open from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day. Situated in Toddington Station car park there will be free parking and free admission to the Fayre. Visitors can also enjoy a trip along the line to Laverton, Winchcombe and Cheltenham Racecourse at normal ticket prices. The red timetable will be operating with two steam trains running plus a diesel railcar.
Last year there were more than 30 exhibitors over the two days, many giving away samples as well as selling their locally produced artisan food and drink products; 10 new exhibitors this year are expected, to make the event an even greater success.
Exhibitors were impressed by the large numbers of visitors who enjoyed spending money on their tasty and innovative items and all the exhibitors want to return in 2017.
There will be keenly priced and well-packaged gifts from the Fayre that will make ideal Christmas presents.
Examples of Cotswolds food varieties will include local cheeses and chutneys, honey and jams, puddings, pies, cakes, pastries, biscuits, and lots, lots more.
