Eat & drink

For fine dining, eating and drinking

Savour fresh, Cotswold produce in our restaurants, pubs and cafes and try some of our locally-brewed ales.

Winchcombe is home to a fantastic range of timbered pubs, cosy restaurants, friendly bars and welcoming cafes and tea rooms. Here you can relax, chat, pick up a paper or simply watch the world go by.

We are proud to have our own four-time Michelin-starred chef, Marcus Ashenford in Winchcombe. Marcus, or Gus as he is known, owns and runs the impressive Restaurant 5 North Street and diners come from far and wide to sample his cuisine.

We also have two local breweries. The award-winning, Winchcombe-based, Goffs Brewery, a leading craft beer micro-brewery and Stanway Brewery on the nearby Stanway Estate – one of just two log-fired breweries in Gloucestershire. You can sample their selections of fine, head-whirling ales in some of our local hostelries!
