Festivals

Come to a festival or a show!

Each year Winchcombe hosts a number of festivals,  and a popular Country Show.

In April we step back in time for the nostalgic Wartime in the Cotswolds weekend at GWR (Great Western Railway) and Broadway that sees scores of visitors and enactors in authentic ‘40s dress.

The 2024 Walking Festival will be on 17th – 19th May. The annual three-day event is run by Winchcombe Welcomes Walkers and attracts hundreds of people from across the UK and beyond.

Details of the 2024 Midsummer Music & Arts Festival have yet to be confirmed. Highlights of the 2023 extravaganza included an art competiton for school kids, big choirs, sax and song, blues, jazz in the garden as well as Ukulele, Boogie Beats and morning StoryTime.

Later in July, you can sample an array of real ales at the Cotswold Beer Festival which has been running for more than 40 years at the historic Postlip Hall, just outside Winchcombe.

On August Bank Holiday Monday it’s the annual Winchcombe Country Show, a great family day out packed with entertainment, stalls, dog agility, arena displays and a show marquee brimming with blooms, crafts, cakes, art and vegetables.

The 2023 Winchcombe Christmas Festival is being held over 2 days; Friday 8th and Saturday 9th December. Scores of stalls laden with gifts, festive food, shops open late, carol singing and live music to really get you into the Christmas spirit. Like and follow the event on facebook.
