Prescott Hill Climb Open Classic Car Event

Prescott Hill Climb Open Classic Car Event

This Open Classic Car event, organised by Cleeve Vale and Winchcombe Rotary Clubs,  invite classic car owners to “Drive the Hill” or take part in a static display. Spectators are also welcome and can gain entry for a donation of £15 per car and passengers.

Gates are open for spectators from 9.00am; cars will be climbing the hill from 10.00am, Sunday 13 May.

The event is open to all vehicles over 25 years old but exceptions may be made at the discretion of the organisers for particularly interesting younger vehicles. The event is limited to 200 paddock entries (Hill climbers) who will be given two opportunities to climb the famous hill with no restrictions on the number of static entries.

Paddock entries will drive the hill, with passengers if they wish, in marshalled but un-timed runs. This eliminates the need for helmets and the full gamut of safety equipment but the cars must be road legal, taxed and insured.

The static display will be in a designated area for classic, vintage and special vehicles and, for those who wish to partake, a gentle cavalcade up the hill will take place in the early afternoon to allow the attending public to see these cars in motion.

Proceeds from the event are used by the Rotary Club to support local, national and international charities and almost £250,000 has been raised since the event was first run 15 years ago. In order to maximise this we are asking for your cooperation, where appropriate, to gift aid your donation so we can reclaim tax.

Entry donations:
Paddock (Hill run) £55 per car
Statics £15 per car
Tour  £20 per car
Spectators  £15 per car (includes parking and passenger entry)

Entrants should apply in advance, spectators can apply in advance or pay on the day.
