26 Sep Sale at Just-In as Jean retires
One of Winchcombe’s longest-serving retailers, the lovely Jean Ford owner of Just-in, is preparing to shut up shop this year after a quarter of a century in business – and has just started a massive clearance sale to mark the end of the era.
Jean has been trading in Hailes Street since 1992 and is well known for providing women’s clothing to suit mature and larger ladies, along with her very popular hat hire.
During her two-and-a-half decades at Just-in, Jean and her team have run numerous charity fashions shows to support local causes and has penned many an amusing poem to help advertise her business.
In readiness for the sale of her shop later this year, Jean is currently holding a half price sale with a 50% discount on all items in her premises – from tops, trousers, coats and evening wear, to shoes, boots, scarves and jewellery.
She also plans to hold a final clear out sale from the middle of next week, October 4th, in a special marquee behind her shop to house all the stock – including rails of clothing from her upstairs stockroom.
Jean said: “It’s actually quite a sad time as I do enjoy running the shop and always have, but it has become a bit of a worry now so the time has come to call it a day. We are hoping a sale will go through by Christmas so I am now selling off all the stock at 50% off. Customers are coming in to make the most of the bargains, so if you’re interested do come in and see us very soon.”
Just-in is open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm. You can contact Jean on 01242 603204.
