24 Mar Winchcombe Festival of Music & Arts
Winchcombe Festival of Music & Arts
Welcome to the Winchcombe Festival of Music & Arts, celebrating the best local bands, groups, artists, poets and writers.
Look forward to a week-long extravaganza of concerts, performances, exhibitions, workshops and talks, and join in Winchcombe’s popular annual Art Trail for a unique opportunity to enjoy and buy original works of art and craft directly from the artists.
With dozens of stalls and the Festival Fringe, the Street Fair on Bank Holiday Monday is a day packed full of fun for all the family. Stall holders selling everything from food and local produce to crafts, jewellery, furniture and gifts will set up shop on North Street, which will be closed to traffic for the day.
The Festival Fringe includes many favourite performers from Tango Cotswold to the beautiful sounds of ‘Three Harmony’. Join in the dancing and boogie along to musicians from the O.B Band! Some seating is available.
The Festival is a non-profit making organisation run by people in Winchcombe for people in Winchcombe, bringing live music and arts to Winchcombe. We try to showcase local talent as well as many wonderful performers and artists from further afield.
The historic stone built town of Winchcombe stands near the foot of the northern Cotswold hills and is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors to the town can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the unique attractions of nearby Sudeley Castle, the preserved steam railway line and the already famous walking trails. The creative energy in the town has encouraged a lively range of communal and social activities led by the vibrant Winchcombe Festival of Music and Arts.
